Preparing your Items?

Preparing items to sell – we will take care to ensure that your items are merchandised well and protected during our sale, however, sometimes items get dirty, broken or lost. If you can't bear for this to happen to any of your items, please do not bring them to the sale – this rarely happens, but anything is possible. Provided you follow our instructions below, you can minimize any potential problems.  Also, please note, that per our consignor agreement and recall agreement, we can not reimburse for lost, dirty or damaged items.

General Preparation back

Items must be clean, free of rips or tears, in good to excellent condition, unstained and free of pet hair

Minimum number of items to sell is 30 – if you have over 200 items, please remember to book yourself for two drop off appointments

Make sure that items are not on the CPSC's recall list:
Our Product Recall Info Page (Links to CPSC Site & other resources)

Hang clothes on wire hangers (You can conveniently purchase them from us HERE). Hangers are available through your local dry cleaners and occasionally through the 99 cent store or Walmart

Hanger should face left (like a question mark)

Safety pin pants, skirts, shorts or other items so they don't slip off

Use tagging gun to affix tags with the barb through the size tag or in a seam – ensure that you do not damage the clothes in any way with the barb

Sort your items by size and by gender for easy placement at the sale

Items should be priced at a minimum of $2.00 (you can combine clothes to make a set or an outfit)

All toys must be clean, working and all pieces must be accounted for

Ensure that batteries are working and replace batteries when needed

Seal loose parts in clear plastic bags and secure to larger items (GeoTrax cars in sealed Ziploc bag taped to larger bag of tracks)

Books should be clean, with no missing pages or a minimum of writing; use clear adhesive tape to affix your tag on the back of the book

Accessories Preparation back

Cribs, furniture or large items with multiple pieces should be labeled clearly – remember, WE DO NOT accept any drop down cribs due to recent CPSC regulations

Breast pumps will only be accepted if new in a sealed box due to department of health regulations

Diaper bags, backpacks and other purses should be hung on wire hangers

Linens – use safety pins and hang on wire hangers; multiple piece nursery linen sets should be placed in large clear plastic bags (like what they came in originally) when possible
